Job Summary

The Sr. Procurement Manager, IT will be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities for sustained competitiveness across the Coca-Cola System, serving as a strategic IT business partner with internal teams and external partners, and solving business problems through new and existing tools, technologies, and capabilities. This individual will need to drive prioritization of projects and support-related issues across the organization as well as drive specific high value, complex and/or strategic projects, incorporating business process improvements. Responsibilities will include serving as the face of IT to CCBSS operations, aligning business technology needs to CCBSS's architectural standards, and facilitating resolution of complex system issues across a diverse IT landscape.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Business Partner (30%): Serve as the strategic partner for CCBSS's Procurement and CCBSS support Teams

    • Partner with Service Leaders and other key stakeholders to understand business requirements, align technology needs to CCBSS's architecture standards, and prioritize initiatives
    • Work closely CCBSS operational leaders to identify and vet new innovative solutions that provide a competitive advantage to CCBSS, reduce costs, and/or deliver efficiency


  2. Program Management (35%): Oversee a broad portfolio of service initiatives ensuring on-time delivery of approved initiatives via robust program management processes

    • Develop and coordinate cross-functional project plans and identify critical paths via project planning tools
    • Engage extensively with senior leaders, key bottler leaders, and other critical stakeholders to keep COE portfolio aligned with business priorities - proactively monitoring issues/risks and implementing mitigation plans when required
    • Create weekly program management reports for business leaders - escalating issues and influencing stakeholders to ensure successful progression


  3. Project Management (35%): Drive project execution for complex and/or strategic initiatives

    • Use project management methodologies (including both Waterfall and Agile) to successfully and autonomously execute projects.
    • Quickly gain subject-matter expertise within assigned projects to gain stakeholder credibility, steer key decisions, and help solve complex problems as they arise (i.e., "own the project")
    • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and execute contingency plans.
    • Ensure timely delivery of project implementations and the realization of the intended business value.



Key Skills and Abilities

  • Self-motivated. Ability to get things done and prioritize in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent client relationship management, communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong negotiation/influencing skill with external parties and internal stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge and experience with strategic sourcing processes and other operational best practices
  • Capable to lead Change Management (Project & Organization)
  • Ability to influence without authority up and down the organization building positive working relationships
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and all standard software/applications related to Procurement

Education Requirements

Minimum :4 Year / Bachelors Degree

Years of Experience

  • 5 years in the area of IT Procurement
  • 7-10 years in procurement, supply chain, or related discipline

Required Travel

Travel is not expected in this job, however, employees may be asked to travel for meetings or training on occasion.

Hybrid Work Environment

CCBSS operates a hybrid working environment. This is a teleworking role that requires working at a CCBSS office location on a regular basis (or a minimum number of days per month or week) at the manager's discretion. The number of days required at a CCBSS office location is at the manager's discretion and is subject to change depending on business needs.
