AirStrip is adding a Chief Financial Officer to our team. In this role, you're a key member of the executive team, reporting directly to the CEO, with responsibility and oversight of the financial strategy, planning, and operations of our company, ensuring the financial health and growth of AirStrip. Your leadership expertise is crucial in guiding the company through funding rounds, strategic investments, and financial management practices that align with our growth objectives and regulatory environment.

Please note, this position has a preference for candidates located in Dallas, TX-area, within a commutable distance to our shared office space in Lewisville.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, including risk minimization plans and opportunity forecasting.
  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, investments, and cash management.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate financial requirements and maintain investor relations.
  • Drive the company's financial planning and performance analysis, providing insights that shape strategic business decisions.
  • Lead the finance team in managing day-to-day financial activities, cultivating a high-performance culture.
  • Partner with other C-level executives to align financial management with short and long-term financial planning and projections.
  • Partner with HR to evaluate and oversee all benefits negotiations, thereby providing the best packages for company employees.
  • Represent the company to investors, partners, and business associates, maintaining positive relationships and promoting company growth.
  • Manage and oversee the company's fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
  • Assure legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company.
  • Develop and maintain monthly operating budget and annual company operating budget


Education & Experience Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a senior financial managerial position with a proven record of success, preferably in the healthcare or technology sectors
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with direct management experience, including team development


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:



  • Deep understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including GAAP
  • Strong expertise in financial analysis, data-driven financial strategy, and forecasting

  • Communication skills: in addition to basic communication skills, the ability to communicate complex information clearly and accurately in a clinical and information technology setting.

    Strong listening skills.



  • Problems-solving skills: ability to face challenges around product feedback, issues, and improvements to benefit workflow enablement. Including listening to customer workflow challenges and aligning them with AirStrip solutions that solve said challenges for business growth



  • Excellent business and budget-planning skills



  • Strong organizational and time-management skills



  • Ability to adapt to changing environments



  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills



  • Ability to work as an independent contributor and as part of a team

The anticipated salary range for applicable US-based applicants to this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location.



  • $250,000 - $275,000 base salary, plus bonus potential.
