Description and Requirements

As part of the growing Solutions & Services Group (SSG), this strategic communications role is ideal for a visionary storyteller who thrives at the intersection of innovation, business transformation, and leadership influence. You'll craft executive narratives that elevate Lenovo's position in the AI era, working closely with senior leaders to communicate the company's solutions-led strategy, AI expertise, and customer impact. From redefining Lenovo's voice on the global stage to building thought leadership around smarter services and business outcomes, you'll lead high-impact storytelling that connects deeply with global enterprise audiences. With a background in solution-focused messaging and an interest in emerging technologies, you'll have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to Lenovo's transformation.

The Role

We are looking for a talented executive communications senior manager for our Solutions and Services Group (SSG) to be a part of Lenovo's evolution into a world-leading technology solutions company.

The role will collaborate closely with SSGs team across the world, as well as Lenovo's broader global communications and marketing teams (including major sites in North Carolina, Hong Kong and Beijing).

Specifically, the role will focus on:

  • Developing leadership messaging around Lenovo's solutions and services strategy and portfolio during major keynotes, Lenovo Tech World events around the world and more
  • Collaboration with functional teams including global marketing, product, design, user experience, corporate and local communications teams as well as external partners to align on the communications messaging
  • Creating content to engage with external and internal audiences on key solutions, interpreting complex concepts into succinct and memorable narratives in all forms of written communications, as well as partnering with creative teams to develop compelling visual content
  • Collaborate with external agency partners, as well as regional and local communications, sales and marketing teams on the key messaging, solution launches, financials and more
  • Designing, developing and implementing executive and internal communications programs on strategic topics

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in professional communications in both in-house and agency roles
  • Experience in the technology sector, specifically around services and solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, with the ability to summarize details quickly and sell ideas through presentation decks
  • Experience working in a geo/region or global role in multinational company / reaching global audiences
  • Ability to understand complex solutions and translate them into relevant and engaging messages
  • Results oriented, with extensive experience in actionable executive communications measurement
  • Strong organizational, project management, analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience with senior leadership
  • Understanding of Mandarin Chinese a plus
This role offers the flexibility to be home-based anywhere in the U.S. within the Eastern or Central time zones. If you're near our Chicago or Raleigh offices, we follow a friendly hybrid model with three days a week in the office-great for collaboration and connection!

The base salary range budgeted for this position is 153,000 - $199,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions. Lenovo's various benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com
