If you are a current employee, please navigate here to apply internally. Job Description Repairs and maintains production machinery and equipment. Will assist Maintenance Manager in the supervising and coordination of activities of maintenance employees, and contractors. Applies electrical, mechanical and electronic theories and skills to test, modify, maintain and repair equipment and processes as needed. Key Accountabilities
  • Assigns maintenance resources to respond to needs of plant by using the CMMS system.
  • Records repairs and maintenance performed using the CMMS system
  • Will enter work orders and downtime information into maintenance database.
  • Troubleshoots problems with machinery to determine nature of problem, such as computer, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, mechanical problems or set up of the equipment using schematics.
  • Confers with technical support groups to solve computer-related and hydraulic-related problems.
  • Responsible for daily shift activities. Ensure work orders, safeties and project work is completed. Also will ensure all RCA's are completed for their shift.
  • Analyzes and interprets test information.
  • May lead and participate in TPM, Kaizen and 5S events.
  • Will lead efforts in PM Optimization process.
  • Assures machine controls are current with available spare parts received in the supply area to prevent obsolete parts being used.
  • Will maintain and troubleshoot 480 VAC systems.
  • Must understand and be able to troubleshoot and repair both hydraulic and pneumatic controlled machinery.
  • Will troubleshoot AC/DC drive systems.
  • Must have knowledge of NEC.
  • Will work closely with contractors and vendors as needed.
  • Will assist Maintenance Manager in the leadership and supervision of other maintenance employees and contractors.
  • Will fill in for Maintenance Manager as needed.
  • Must be available to work flexible shifts if needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or Electronics is preferred.
  • Must also be proficient in troubleshooting and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and electronic maintenance systems.
  • Prior experience in a leadership role is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years maintenance experience is required.
  • Experience in the use of CMMS and computer software is preferred.
