Healthcare Fluency (A big plus!): You may not be a medical expert, but you understand - or are eager to learn - how design and construction influences patient and staff experience, infection control, and clinical workflows. If you haven't worked in healthcare before, you're ready to dig in and get fluent, fast. Don't worry - you won't be alone! You will have a team of healthcare market experts ready to partner with you.

Desired Qualifications:

Success in this role favors the highly organized who can prioritize multiple concurrent tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

• 5+ years of experience in developing tailored, persuasive proposals and presentations, or similar experience and skills.
• Highly proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.); Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and proactive communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or related field or equivalent.
• Experience within the healthcare industry and understanding of strategic drivers, stakeholders, and the differentiators that can set an A/E healthcare consultant apart is a huge plus, but not required.
• Experience with Deltek VantagePoint, OpenAsset, and Newforma software is a plus, but not required.

Proposal/Presentation Development:

• Lead the development of persuasive proposals and presentations that position Shive-Hattery as the clear choice in competitive healthcare pursuits.
• Collaborate with pursuit teams to define strategy, messaging, and visuals that reflect client priorities and differentiate us.
• Oversee all phases of pursuit development: content strategy, writing and editing, formatting, compliance, brand adherence, and quality control.
• Coordinate with technical team members, teaming partners, and proposal coordinators to ensure timely, high-quality production.

Client Development Support:

• Provide strategic support to facilitate client development, assemble compelling information packages, and maintain marketing files.
• Support market research efforts, including competitive analysis, prospective clients, market drivers, and market share.
• Lead the development of client capture plans.
• Support all go/no go decisions and assess each potential pursuit's ability to meet the firm's strategic market plan, positioning, and goals.
• Provide planning support for key conferences to maximize presence and investment.

Marketing Information:

• Contribute to company marketing process improvements to continuously enhance the quality of our work. Support our process for creating and maintaining well-organized, up-to-date qualifications statements, project descriptions, and resumes that reflect firm strengths and client benefits.
• Collaborate with proposal coordinator for production support.
