JOB SUMMARY:
The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for providing support services for the office operations of Truth Initiative. This position assists other departments and provides back-up to the receptionist as needed.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (*ESSENTIAL DUTIES):
Office Coordination:
  • Supply ordering includes office and kitchen supplies as well as ordering and maintaining foods and supplies for Truth Initiative's healthy breakfast and snack program.*
  • Maintain the overall appearance of the building by ensuring that it is always neat and orderly. Continuous daily sweeps to monitor appearance of shared office spaces.*
  • Assist in rearranging office furniture as necessary for internal events (i.e. full staff meetings, board meetings, staff events).*
  • Assist with maintaining workroom order and functionality (mail, photocopying, etc.).
  • Serve as backup Receptionist as necessary.
  • Serve as an administrative floater based on the needs and priorities of Truth Initiative to complete other duties as assigned.
Administrative Coordination:
  • Serve as an administrative assistant for the Operations Team by performing various administrative and clerical tasks.*
  • Process team invoicing in a timely manner and adhere to budgets set forth*
  • Handle scheduling of meetings and maintaining operations calendar*
  • Assist with various administrative projects, disseminating correspondence and other documents as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Skills:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Dependable and flexible, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds.
  • Expected work hours between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This position is based in Washington, D.C. with a hybrid work schedule of three days in the office and two telework days.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
The salary range for this role is starting at $58,000-$62,000 on a national basis.Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, relevant work experience, skillset, internal equity, location, and certifications, consistent with applicable law.Salaryis just one part of our total rewards package which additionally includes performance bonus for eligible roles, and competitive benefits.
