Primary Purpose Summary As a Quality Engineer/Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in driving quality excellence across Lincolnton's manufacturing and quality systems. This position is responsible for ensuring product and process integrity, supporting customer satisfaction, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate cross-functionally to manage product audits, resolve quality issues, and uphold compliance with industry standards including ISO 9001, SQF, and BRC. Detailed Description:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

* Champion adherence to all quality system procedures and company policies. * Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment. * Support annual departmental goals and strategic quality initiatives. * Serve as a key liaison for customer quality concerns, product performance requirements, and vendor certification processes. * Lead the plant-wide corrective action system, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues. * Provide training and support to manufacturing teams, including data collection and root cause analysis. * Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen events, process reviews, and lean methodologies. * Develop and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and audit reports. * Analyze quality data to identify trends, generate insights, and recommend improvements. * Investigate customer complaints thoroughly and implement robust corrective and preventive actions. * Participate in internal and external audits, including customer and Aptar certification audits. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams on change control, project support, and process capability studies.

Required Qualifications

Education * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field required; Master's degree preferred. * Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent professional certification required. * Additional certifications such as Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing, or PMP are highly desirable Experience: * Minimum 8-10 years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Quality roles, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity. * Demonstrated success in leading complex quality initiatives across multiple departments or facilities. * Proven track record of managing high-impact customer relationships and resolving critical quality issues. * Experience with regulatory and compliance audits (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, IATF 16949) is a strong plus. Technical Skills * Expert in advanced quality tools and methodologies: FMEA, MSA, SPC, DOE, 8D, CAPA, and statistical modeling. * Proficient in quality management systems (QMS), ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and data analytics platforms (e.g., Minitab, Power BI). * Deep understanding of ISO 9001, SQF, BRC, and other relevant standards. * Skilled in leading root cause analysis and implementing sustainable corrective/preventive actions. Leadership & Soft Skills * Strong leadership presence with the ability to mentor junior engineers and influence cross-functional teams. * Strategic thinker with a continuous improvement mindset and a proactive approach to risk mitigation. * Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with executive leadership and external stakeholders. * High emotional intelligence, resilience under pressure, and a collaborative spirit.
