We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Agile Coach/Trainer. This position is at our client's location in Washington, DC, and performed in a hybrid capacity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Agile Coach/Trainer is responsible for supporting and training the customer in transitioning from a traditional waterfall project management methodology to an agile project management methodology, leveraging agile practices, Scrum Teams and DevOps Responsibilities:
- Facilitate interactive and engaging training sessions that promote understanding and adoption of Agile methodologies.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to teams to help them implement Agile practices effectively.
- Assess the Agile maturity of teams and develop tailored coaching plans to address gaps and enhance performance.
- Collaborate with project managers, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with Agile principles.
- Conduct Agile assessments and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
- Stay current with the latest Agile trends, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into training programs.
- Support the creation and maintenance of an Agile Center of Excellence to promote continuous learning and improvement.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability across the organization.
- Develop and revises courses and prepares appropriate training catalogs.
- Prepare all instructor materials (course outline, background material, and training aids).
- Prepare all student materials (course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms).
- Recommend outside training as required.
- Provide on-site and virtual general Agile, SAFe, and Scrum training that provides an understanding of overall Agile practices and methods.
- Provide recommended learning objectives for role-based training for managers, scrum/development teams, and the enterprise for review and approval by the client.
- Conduct training sessions for small to medium audiences (5-25 attendees)
- Recommend and execute a training program. The training program shall align with the needs identified in the agile readiness assessment

Required Qualifications |
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business or an IT-related field
- SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) required
- 8-10 years of experience working in a consulting environment
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience providing Agile/SAFe training in client environments
- Experience configuring and using Azure DevOps
- Experience with managing and establishing client relationships
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and all levels of the organization
- Experience with meeting/video conferencing tools (Microsoft Teams, WebEx, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Products (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk or workstation.
