email * Assists in maintaining Federal, State and local regulatory requirements for equipment and facilities. * Monitors inventory and submits parts and supplies requisitions through proper channels. * Maintain a clean, neat and organized work area. * Assists Company Maintenance Supervisor, as needed. * Evaluates effectiveness of established system programs and make recommendations for improvement. * Other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: * Hold a current FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate. * Meet initial and continuing standards of the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program. * Experience and knowledge in maintaining aircraft, and related components. * Experience in operating tools and equipment in the process of maintaining aircraft. * Ability to work with minimal supervision, using independent judgment and decision-making * Ability to work as a team member in jobs that require a high level of cooperation and coordination. * Ability to take directions and follow assignments within Company Policy & Procedures. * Ability to analyze and solve problems. * Must have computer skills. * Must have a GED or High School Diploma. * Prior Maintenance experience preferred. * This position is very active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing up to 8 - 10 hours a day. * Requires frequent and routine lifting or moving items weighing over 70 pounds. * Must have work-related tools per Company minimum list. * Must be able to pass a ten year security background check for airport badging. * Must be 21 years or older with a clean driving record in the past five years.
