National Grid is hiring a U.S. Group Safety Specialist for our Group Safety, Health and Wellbeing team.This position can be located in any New England office (Boston, Northborough, Waltham and Worcester), following a hybrid working policy (work from home, in-office, and field). Job Purpose
Join our Group Safety, Health and Wellbeing team at National Grid, where you will play a critical role in shaping the safety strategy for over 30,000 employees. As the U.S. Group Safety Specialist, you will be instrumental in contributing to the implementation and development of comprehensive Group-wide safety governance standards, policies, and assurance frameworks. In this role, you will support the U.S. Safety Manager and collaborate with UK counterparts ensuring compliance with both US and UK regulations and industry best practices. This role will assist with providing strategic guidance and technical support to safety teams across diverse business units, fostering a robust safety culture. This role will also serve as a process safety/gas or electrical technical expert. Key Accountabilities

#LI-HYBRID Salary $105k - $115k a year in Waltham, Northboro, Boston or Worcester This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
