WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS ROLE:
- Serve as a highly visible key business partner and support to the plant manager for our flagship lean manufacturing facility.
- Drive productivity, inventory reduction, insights on plant performance and identify opportunities for improvement and managing internal controls.
- Utilize deep understanding of COGS, provide scenarios to Operations for improvement.
- Identify the cost pool with opportunities for improvement, validate savings and keep operations team on track.
- Understand and communicate spend drivers and future impact to business decisions.
- Lead weekly/monthly reviews of spend/hours, preparation of month-end closing entries and plant performance reports, provide plant variance analysis.
- Lead the annual budget and forecasts for the plant.
- Perform annual cost roll and related analytics.
- Understand inventory levels, highlighting opportunities and risk, provide inventory, DIOH, cycle count and E&O analysis and support the team to drive improvement.
- Support capital projects through review of Plant Capital equipment request, providing capital analysis, communicating with project owner and controllership team to close out.
- Partner with SIOP team to understand latest orders trend vs demand planning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (i.e. Internal Audit, FP&A, and more).
- Ideally, an academic background in Accounting, Finance or business related major. Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years' experience in or with managing plant financials, with a deep knowledge of cost accounting and standard cost roll-out.
- Proficient in SAP; advanced skills in Excel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines with efforts to streamline processes.

Pay Transparency
The pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $107,100.00 - $198,900.00
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
