Consumer Behavior & Insights (CB&I) transforms human insight into powerful brand, marketing and retail strategies to help clients unlock growth in the markets they serve. Growth is unlocked when marketing strategy is centered on the consumer, underpinned by a deep understanding into how people think, feel and act in their daily lives. The Consumer Insights team within CB&I specializes in foundational quantitative research to support the CB&I mission.

Developing a strong base of human resources is critical to our success in this process.

Responsibilities

When you join the Consumer Insights team, you're signing up for an experience that requires flexibility, curiosity, and passion. As a Director, Customer Success - Consumer Insight you will have the following responsibilities:

* Client Relationship Management:

o Help build and maintain strong client relationships, inspiring confidence in our clients that NIQ provides premium, fact-based consultation.

o Balance the needs of clients with what is best for the company, including monitoring project specific budgets and timelines.

o Identify clients' requirements and expectations and communicate and consult regularly with clients about their projects. This includes maintaining a presence and high level of engagement during all phases of projects, from questionnaire development to presentation of results.

o Provide input on client knowledge and practice insights to research design and proposal development.

o Manage client expectations and maintain confidence in all situations. Be a voice of reason, expertise and partnership to clients -- helping them make informed decisions on how to best move forward with elements of their project.

o Support junior team members throughout projects (e.g., proofing questionnaires, reviewing materials, helping build report templates, analyzing data for key insights, troubleshooting).

* Project Leadership:

o Oversee the development of well targeted survey questionnaires, analytic plans and comprehensive reports which contain impactful insights and recommendations to address each client's key objectives

o Present research to clients and stakeholders in a compelling manner.

o Manage the work of a matrixed team of researchers assigned to support your projects (typically Research Associates/Senior Research Associates/Research Managers/Senior Research Managers), providing project-specific training and performance coaching

o Ensure a detailed project plan is in place on every project and liaise with internal Project Management and Opps partners to execute the plan on time and on budget

o Drive practice expertise and knowledge of practice standards, and foster a broader connection with NIQ.

o Help contribute to process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency.

Qualifications

* At least 7+ years of experience in a global project management of complex quantitative research project execution ideally including segmentation, path to purchase, and market landscape projects

* At least 2+ years of experience operating as a Research Manager or Senior Manager role in a Strategic Analytics & Insights Team Customer Success team or equivalent recent external experience

* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, the Google software suite and dedication to mastering other software as it becomes part of the Consumer Insights practice

Additional Information

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $92,000 - $117,550. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
