Summary:

Goldbelt, Inc. is in search of a Program Analyst IV to support the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Atlanta, GA.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and maintain a summary "dashboard" of key metrics for strategic objectives.
  • Monitor strategic objectives in partnership efforts and track progress towards completing tasks and meeting goals in the Policy and Operations Team within the Surveillance Branch of Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (DHQP).
  • Leading the representation of the Policy and Operations Team in the SharePoint environment developing and managing the content of the site for internal use.
  • Develop high quality content for the SharePoint site as a resource for external partners (State and Local) Health Departments.
  • Lead regular ad hoc meetings with strong decision-making points and plans in the presence of senior leadership.
  • Develop effective and efficient work breakdown structures and other tools to track and monitor multiple projects' progress.
  • Coordinate with federal and non-federal partners to arrange and develop agendas for standing and ad hoc conference calls and meetings.
  • Review documents from federal and other partners for items that might be of relevance to CDC work in CoVID-19 and healthcare associated infections.
  • Develop presentations that address HAIs and COVID-19 Agenda for a variety of audience.
  • Work with leadership on the development of CDC print and on-line materials (e.g. white papers, fact sheets, infographic and journal articles) to be shared with the public and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate input from partners collaborating on COVID-19 and HAIs.
  • Prepare materials (talking points, presentations, background materials, leave behind documents) for leadership meetings with internal and external audiences.
  • Work with DHQP leadership on the development of presentations on healthcare associated infections and Novel Coronavirus.
  • Work with DHQP leadership on the development of CDC print and on-line materials e.g. white papers, fact sheets, journal articles.
  • Deliver quarterly training or presentations on CDC work in healthcare associated infections including COVID-19 to federal and non-federal partners.
  • Attend coordination meetings and team building activities.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proven ability to work effectively with a diverse set of government and commercial stakeholders on technical contracts.

  • Skilled in performing research using internet, email, databases, and computer software.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to derive innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Expert ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.
  • Develop effective working relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to deliver quality, accurate work within established deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, leadership, teamwork, management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in public health, health education, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Program Analyst.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Public Health Field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $105,000.00-$110,000.00 annually.
