*Job Title:* Data Center Engineer
*Duration:* 2 Years *Work Type:* On-site *Start Date:* June 2025 *Experience Level:* Expert *Job Overview: *Our client is seeking a skilled *Data Center Engineer* to manage and maintain critical infrastructure at a high-availability data center. This role ensures 24/7/365 operational efficiency, supports infrastructure upgrades, and oversees hardware lifecycle management. *Key Responsibilities:* * Monitor and maintain power, cooling, and environmental systems. * Manage HVAC, UPS, generators, switchgear, and other infrastructure. * Troubleshoot and resolve high-voltage electrical and cabling issues. * Plan for capacity and future growth. * Oversee cabinet layout, power balancing, and floor weight distribution. * Lead and execute infrastructure projects. * Maintain compliance with security and operational protocols. * Provide guidance to external vendors and internal teams. * Track and resolve service tickets using ITSM tools. *Must Haves:* * 3+ years of experience in data center operations, commercial electrical systems, or HVAC. * Strong Strong experience in high-voltage systems, DC cooling/power and infrastructure troubleshooting. * Experience with system performance monitoring and capacity planning. * Familiarity with IT hardware, software support, and systems analysis. *Preferred Skills:* * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. * Strong organizational and project management abilities. * Calm under pressure and effective in team environments. *Why Join Us?* * Work with a major enterprise client offering career growth and skills development. * Be part of a mission-critical team supporting both internal and external stakeholders. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
