Pay Grade/Pay Range: Minimum: $62,300 - Midpoint: $81,000 (Salaried E10)

Department/Organization: 810201 - Camellia Cntr-Admin/Operations

Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm; some nights and weekends.

Job Summary: The Assistant Director of the Camellia Center oversees the comprehensive operations and programming provided by the Center. Provides leadership development to students. Provides campus education and campus-wide events on issues related to the prevention of interpersonal violence in alignment with the mission of the Camellia Center.

Additional Department Summary: Provides personal and professional development for students, staff, and faculty. Leads education and outreach efforts for the Center. Develops partnerships and collaborative relationships with campus and community organizations in the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive and innovative programs. Oversees Center communications and marketing activities including the promotion of the Center's services and programs. Collaborates with the Student Life divisional communications team. Ensures the design, implementation, and reporting of effective assessment of programs in collaboration with the division's assessment and reporting requirements. Assumes Center oversight in the absence of the Executive Director. Assists the Executive Director in the development, implementation, and revision of the Center operational procedures and guidelines. Completes required training and promoting a safe, hospitable, and respectful workplace. Holds staff accountable for completion of required training. Has personal accountability for financial reporting and responsibility for establishing, enforcing, and following internal processes and controls as outlined in UA policies and procedures.

Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of student education, support, outreach services, programming, or administration experience; OR master's degree and four (4) years of student education, support, outreach services, programming, or administration experience.

Skills and Knowledge: Excellent communication, organizational, human relation, teaching, and training skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Knowledge of standard software applications (word processing, etc.). Demonstrates commitment to supporting all students.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience and success in program planning, leadership development, interpersonal violence prevention, and community building. Experience in administration and working with college students. Familiarity with campus and community resources.
