Job Description

As a Security Professional - Government Patrols Unarmed in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. Your role is essential in maintaining a secure environment and supporting the needs of the community.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.34 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time
Tue 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM
Thur 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required by the site.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing the surroundings during patrols.
  • Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
  • Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
