Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an armed patrol officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. This is an armed post that may require driving responsibilities. You will interact with personnel and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour - Secret

$29.00 / Hour - Top Secret

$38.38 / Hour - Yankee White

Job Schedule:

Day Time
Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Responsibilities:

    Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a secure environment.
  • Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity within the aerospace and defense location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and law enforcement as needed.
  • Document incidents and daily activities according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Level III Armed Certification is required for Texas roles.
  • An active Department of Defense Clearance is required.
  • A Armed guard card or license is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
