What You Can Expect

As our Operations Data Analytics Analyst II, you will support and enhance operational performance by delivering data-driven insights and developing tools to monitor key business processes. In this role, you'll collaborate with teams across Operations including Customer Care, Collections, and Revenue Management as well as partner with departments such as Sales and Pricing to analyze performance trends, track metrics, and inform strategic decisions. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of performance reporting tools and dashboards, while conducting analyses that drive process improvements and enhance customer outcomes. Additionally, you'll play a key role in company-wide reporting efforts by translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that support business objectives.

This position is based in Houston, TX, and reports to the Senior Advisor, Operations Data Analytics.

What You'll Bring



  • You hold a Bachelor's degree requiredBusiness, Economics, Finance, Math, or Engineering
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a business or operations-focused data role is required. Alternatively, we will consider candidates with at least five (5) years of relevant experience where you gained hands-on skills in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement within a business or operational setting
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Math, Engineering, or a related field, along with at least two years of experience in a business or operations-focused data role
  • You are analytically minded with strong attention to detail and a proven ability to solve business problems using data
  • You are proficient in SQL (T-SQL or PL-SQL preferred), and experienced with relational databases, Excel (including Power Query and Pivot Tables), and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • You are knowledgeable in presenting data clearly using PowerPoint and communicating insights in a professional and engaging manner
  • You have the ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively with a strong interest in growing within the energy and data analytics space



Additional Details



  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy three (3) days in office
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies



Compensation

Salary Range: $55,300 - $84,755 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
