Senior Marketing Coordinator

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a smart, energetic, and creative individual to join our marketing team as a Senior Marketing Coordinator. In this role, you will be assisting in project pursuits, positioning the company through multiple channels including digital marketing, in-person events, promotional materials, internal communications, and more.

We're seeking a creative and motivated marketing professional with a strong design background who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is someone who brings positive energy, adaptability, and a can-do attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Content & Events



  • Create graphics and copy for digital and print materials, including website, social media, flyers, event materials, and other marketing assets
  • Produce high-quality proposal graphics and content that demonstrates Mortenson's value and problem-solving approach
  • Assist with planning, logistics, social media, and materials for internal and external events


Internal Communications



  • Build and execute internal communication plans, including regular newsletters and systems to share news and updates effectively within the organization
  • Develop templates, infographics, and visuals to illustrate company initiatives and progress

Marketing Operations



  • Support the proposal process, including gathering, verifying, and formatting content
  • Create and manage efficient marketing processes and reporting
  • Create and maintain content library


Customer & Market Insight



  • Research and maintain customer personas for key segments
  • Assist with mapping customer decision-making paths in partnership with the leadership team

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, or similar field

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop

Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

Exceptional writing and editing skills (grammar, spelling, proofing, conciseness, etc.)

Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to be flexible within a deadline-driven environment

Creative with an eye for detail and design

Ability to listen and formulate ideas into strategy and key messages

Adaptive, effective communication and interpersonal skills with those of diverse organizational levels and backgrounds

Resourceful; self-starter; proactive solution seeker based on information and judgement

Professional, positive attitude

Four to six years of experience in a similar role preferred

Experience in the construction, engineering, or architectural industry a plus

The base pay range for this role is $32.79/hr. MIN - $44.28/hr. MAX. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).

Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
