Diesel Mechanic

Job Title: Diesel Mechanic
Location: Shreveport, LA
Pay Range: $25 - 28/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Saturday's as needed | 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (45 - 50 hrs/week)
Tool Allowance: $200/month

We're hiring a Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Shreveport, LA. In this role, you'll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems, handle parts replacement, and perform minor engine repairs on our fleet of garbage trucks. This is a full-time, physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions.

• Perform preventative maintenance including oil changes, inspections, and fluid checks

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues

• Assist with engine troubleshooting and minor repairs

• Maintain clean and organized work areas

• Keep accurate maintenance records and service logs

• Support other mechanics as needed

• 3+ years of experience in diesel or heavy truck maintenance

• Technical school certification and/or ASE certification a plus

• Must have own tools

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• $25 - 28/hour pay range, depending on experience

• $200/month tool allowance
