Welcome to the digital frontlines of banking! Northrim Bank is on the lookout for an energetic and detail-loving Support Operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys solving customer challenges with a smile (and maybe a little keyboard magic).

As a Support Operator in our Electronic Banking Division, you'll be the behind-the-scenes superhero making sure our digital products and platforms run smoothly for thousands of customers. From troubleshooting mobile apps to guiding users through complex electronic services, your role is vital-and exciting.

What You'll Be Doing (AKA: Why You'll Never Be Bored):
  • Be a Digital Detective: Help customers and colleagues uncover the solutions they need for online banking, mobile apps, treasury services, and more.

  • Keep Things Running: Process service requests, approve new enrollments, and monitor key electronic banking reports and data sources.

  • Master the Tech: Troubleshoot across platforms, systems, browsers, and devices-no tech gremlin can escape your grasp.

  • Become the Bridge: Work closely with our vendors to report issues and ensure timely resolutions for digital product updates and changes.

  • Test and Improve: Participate in quarterly system updates, performing scripted testing and quality assurance for new digital features.

  • Stay in the Know: Build your knowledge of treasury tools, ACH, wires, RDC, merchant services and beyond. Trust us, you'll be learning something new every day.

What You Bring to the Table:
  • 2+ years of experience in financial services, including at least 1 year in electronic banking (education or certifications may be considered too!).

  • A knack for explaining techy things in a clear, human way.

  • Strong attention to detail and a love for juggling multiple tasks at once.

  • Excellent communication skills-you know how to listen, solve, and make people feel heard.

  • Tech skills that include MS Office, Windows, Android, iOS, and a range of browsers. (Bonus if you can fix your parents' phones without crying.)

  • A proactive, can-do attitude. You don't just react-you anticipate and elevate.
