We are looking for a Vice President, Deposit Services who will manage the Deposit Services department consisting of Deposit Operations, Electronic/Digital Banking, and Item Processing. You are a team player who is expected to provide leadership, strategic planning, and support and problem resolution for staff members.
How you will accomplish this:
- Oversee operations of deposit servicing-related technology, e.g. debit/ATM cards, digital banking (which includes bill pay, P2P, A2A), item processing, electronic statements, fraud monitoring, cash management (which includes ACH origination, wire transfers and remote deposit capture), ACH processing and mobile banking
- Supervise the AVP, Deposit Services and the Deposit Services team
- Assist senior management with developing strategic plans, reviewing reports and organizing, and planning and making recommendations for deposit servicing initiatives
- Develop and maintain comprehensive business deposit services/products, e.g. - cash management services, etc.
- Manage and interface with all related vendors associated with Deposit Services products and services
- Identify problem areas and make corrective measure recommendations to the CFO. Implement procedures that address problems.
- Responsible for Deposit Services and Electronic Banking-related bank policies and procedures
- Establish and maintain policies that will reduce the risk of fraud while maintaining adequate convenience for the Bank's customers
- Work with senior management to manage, create and/or revise retail deposit products for both consumer and business
- Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory guidance, audits and security procedures. Address any outstanding issues.
- Provide statistical reports on Deposit Services products quarterly to the IT Steering Committee
- Maintain Deposit Services and Electronic Banking sections of various risk assessments and the DR/BCP Plan
- Provide operational support to DR/BCP testing efforts related to Deposit Services and Electronic Banking
- Serve as a member of the IT Steering Committee, Compliance Committee and Project Management Committee
What you will bring to the role:
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of related banking experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of Deposit Services and Electronic Banking compliance regulations and best practices
- Strong knowledge of the banking industry, including bank operational policies and procedures and bank products and services
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
- Must be organized, accurate, and detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills; able to effectively communicate with and respond to questions from customers, vendors, and other departments within the Bank
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions in a timely manner
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
