The Test Control Technician will be responsible for providing troubleshooting, testing and repair support to the Production team. This is a full-time position based at the Company’s Louisville, Colorado facility. The Test Control Technician reports to the Production Manager.

Essential Job Functions
  • Test equipment as manufactured.
  • Hook up hoses and water supply to equipment.
  • Report product deficiencies to Lead Test Center Technician and/or Production Manager.
  • Read and interpret P&ID and electrical schematics.
  • Perform quality assurance and work with Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to meet critical shipping schedules.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose failures, test control systems, and execute repairs in the factory or at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot and repair fluid handling systems.
  • Document problems and issues together with diagnostics procedures and problem resolution.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient shop and production area.
  • Work with the Service and Production Manager(s) to make sure expanded items are maintained at proper levels to meet project-specific and service/maintenance goals.
  • Abide by all Company standards, policies, and procedures to ensure proper behavior and safety.
  • Remain up-to-date knowledge of federal and industry standards and best practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience working with fittings, tube bending, and leak detection.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanically inclined; working knowledge of mechanical, plumbing components, drilling measurement skills.
  • High level safety and health awareness.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Clear and concise oral and written English language communication skills required, including proper grammar and e-mail etiquette.
  • Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Ability to work under high pressure conditions and to successfully handle stressful situations efficiently, professionally, and effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make timely and sound decisions.
  • Detail oriented, with a high degree of follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree in mechanical or electrical technology (or applicable field).

Physical Demands
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, speak and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls.
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate the equipment and tools required for this position.
  • Must be able to quickly respond (with the hand, finger or foot) to a signal (sound, light, picture) when it appears.
  • Must maintain a clean and professional appearance while working with customers, vendors and colleagues.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
 
Work Environment
  • Light Industrial - May be exposed to areas of high noise levels, airborne and/or hazardous propellants, chemicals and industrial facilities. Appropriate PPE and training will be provided for all conditions.

This position is non-exempt. The base hourly wage for this position is between $28 - $32/hour. Compensation is dependent on experience and skill level. Benefits package and incentives are provided.
