$26- $30 hour depending on experience

Essential Functions

The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:



  • Assist in the supervision of maintenance staff by assigning duties and projects, overseeing maintenance work to ensure proper completion of assigned tasks, and provide guidance and assistance to various maintenance personnel as necessary
  • Create maintenance work schedule for the maintenance team and supply to Operations Director for approval.
  • Routinely inspecting facility, troubleshoot and make repairs to various systems, as well as any structural elements on the property; Creating work orders for maintenance staff as needed
  • Ensure the appropriate inventory systems, records, files, material safety data sheets, supplies, equipment and tools are maintained
  • Perform a variety of maintenance/minor repair activities on the interior/exterior areas of the property including, but not limited to, painting, drywall, structural elements, including parking lot and sidewalks, plumbing repairs, clears drain stoppages, interior and exterior lighting including lamp, fuse and ballast replacement if applicable.
  • Operate a variety of equipment to perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs and maintain cleanliness of property
  • Assist other departments, such as Marketing to setup events and Specialty Leasing with placement, setup and repair of RMU carts
  • Perform the job in accordance with OSHA standards to promote a safe working environment
  • Schedule and perform preventive maintenance programs as assigned by management. Check trash and recycle compactors for proper operation daily.
  • Performs exterior custodial duties as needed. May include gathering trash and empty trash receptacles; operate compactor and turn trash carts
  • May perform additional maintenance duties as assigned by management team
  • May be required to return to work when major problems with electrical/mechanical equipment are encountered on off shifts or weekends. *
  • Ability to work in fast paste, stressful environment.
  • Performs other duties as required.


Skills and Abilities



  • Ability to read and interpret documents and comprehend instructions. Ability to effectively present information to departmental management, employees, tenants, and outside contacts
  • Common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
  • Painting, electrical, plumbing, and drywall skills preferred and knowledge of basic electrical systems
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Capability to diagnose problems on equipment
  • Knowledge of safety rules, hazards and accident prevention measures
  • Ability to work days, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds


Qualifications, Education and Experience



  • High School Diploma or GED preferred. Technical School certifications and/or training preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years building maintenance experience performing some carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing functions
