Title: Vice President, Global Manufacturing - Epoxy Business

Focus: The Vice President, Manufacturing, for Olin's global Epoxy business is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for ensuring safe, reliable and cost-effective operations of Olin's Epoxy assets. This position reports directly to the Vice President & President, Epoxy & Chemicals International, and will collaborate closely with the global commercial team and other key stakeholders to executive the business strategy.
Direct reports include: Site Leader - Stade, Germany; Site Leader - Rheinmuenster/Baltrigen, Germany; Epoxy Mfg. Director/Pisticci, Italy and Rest of World
Vice President, Manufacturing, Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure safe, reliable and cost competitive operation of Olin's Epoxy assets within the Chemicals Division to support both Corporate and Business Strategies.
- Leverage industry best practices and contemporary technologies to drive world class reliability, efficiency and safety.
- Provide leadership, coaching, professional development and mentoring to the Epoxy Site Leaders.
- Partner with the business and commercial leaders, Finance and the Supply Chain Organization to execute the Business Strategy, the Asset Strategy and the Site and Unit Asset Strategies including Staffing, OPEX and CAPEX Budgets, Consolidation and Structural cost reduction, and Maintenance and Reliability Strategy.
- Establish, track and report the corresponding Key Performance Indicators to leaders.
- Develop a sustainable high-performance pipeline of leaders, specialists and operations talent for the Epoxy business and ensure that robust development plans are in place.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement, retention and professional growth.
- Participate in due diligence activities for M&A opportunities.
Vice President, Manufacturing, Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree* in Chemical Engineering or related technical field; Master's degree* preferred
- 15+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing/site leadership roles within the chemical or manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of success in global markets (international experience required)
- Relevant experience with continuous and batch processes
- Prior epoxy experience preferred but must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the epoxy market, including products, applications, and industry trends.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a diverse, global team to achieve outstanding results.
- Full ownership and entrepreneurial mindset expected
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed business decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels and across cultures.
- Up to 30% travel, including international
- Must possess a valid US Driver's License and be able to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
