Job Summary This position supports the Campaign Managers in the strategic development and execution of campaigns within API's Public Affairs department. The role is responsible for creating compelling content including email marketing, social media, and other written materials, and managing campaigns across multiple platforms and mediums to support rapid response and grassroots issue advocacy efforts. Strong project management skills and writing expertise are essential, as this role involves overseeing multiple creative campaigns simultaneously. The position also offers opportunities to explore and implement innovative approaches to audience engagement, both online and offline, to strengthen API's advocacy impact. Duties/Responsibilities
Key Relationships Reporting to the Director of Public Affairs, this position plays a key role in supporting the Public Affairs team's campaign planning and execution. The role combines writing, collaboration, strategic thinking, and digital tools to help conceptualize, implement, coordinate, and evaluate issue advocacy efforts related to natural gas and oil policy at both the state and federal levels. This includes contributing to government relations, grassroots advocacy, and legislative activities, as well as supporting the execution of the department's broader legislative agenda. Qualifications
