TMZ is looking for a Research Associate Producer with strong research skills, and the ability provide input for story development for various TV productions. The role requires someone who can handle a significant amount of reading, assist with deep research, and work with Producers / talent during the pre-production stages of each episode. Applicants must also possess an eye for detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
* Significant reading/research on subjects of each episode
* Summarizing massive amounts of information into smaller, more-digestible info packets for Producers
* Searching through archives and curating photos/videos

* Research and book various guests

* Proficiency with internet and database research
* Other duties, as assigned

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or related field
* 1-2+ years' experience working on an entertainment show or website

* Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge regarding entertainment news events and topics
* Knowledge of social media, and the ability to effectively use and monitor various platforms

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $20.00-22.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
