Title: Manager, Structured Origination Location: Houston, TX (60% telework permitted from anywhere in the US) Employer: AES Clean Energy Services, LLC RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop financial, commercial structuring, and pricing models and frameworks during the prospecting stages in collaboration with BD, Finance and other Support and Control Functions. Develop pricing strategies & structures for customers to enable the negotiation of terms and conditions of power sale agreements in bilateral negotiations Evaluate requests for bids, prepare competitive analysis and manage participation in procurement processes when necessary. Lead and collaborate with the Pricing and Structuring team on the delivery of timely and accurate renewable deal valuation. Design and propose improvements/methodologies for structured renewable modeling and valuation. QUALIFICATIONS: Job requires Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in any occupation involving renewable energy modeling and power markets. The position requires two (2) years of experience in: -Various statistical/risk assessments like: CVAR analysis, risk premium calculations; -Pricing and Valuation Experience in US power markets including PJM or CAISO; -Pricing bilateral power contracts with intermittent volume; -Revenue streams associated with renewable power assets and their valuation; -Structuring renewable energy power offtake. The position requires one (1) years of experience in operating aspects of renewable power assets.
