Position Function |
Provide accurate and timely financial information for a wide assortment of users. Maintain the integrity of the university's financial records. Collect, process, analyze, reconcile, record, and prepare bank adjustments. Update the university's chart of accounts. Complete other daily and monthly cash and accounting functions. |
Minimum Education |
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial field from an accredited institution by date of appointment. |

Superior proficiency with Excel; excellent problem-solving skills; ability to communicate difficult concepts; ability to work independently as well as contribute as a member of a team; must be analytical, highly organized, and detail oriented; ability to learn new software applications. |

Analyze daily bank activity and either prepare related accounting entries to record the activity or notify related departments of funds received. Research any new activity to ensure it is recorded appropriately, which includes reaching out to internal and external parties to determine the appropriate accounting entry for each transaction. Complete accounting entries for any needed correction to prior entries. Complete related month-end accounting transactions to record activity appropriately, which includes recording parking revenue and bank fees. |

Prepare monthly summation of account analysis charges to include any changes to fees from prior periods and communicate those changes to the Director of Cash and Investments. |
