Position Summary: Join a dynamic and mission-driven team dedicated to empowering Canada's manufacturing sector through innovative education and training. As a Sales Development Representative for our Academy, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging new business opportunities, driving course enrollment, and supporting the growth of Academy programs across Canada. This is a hands-on sales position designed for a proactive, results-oriented individual who has a passion for learning and client engagement. Responsibilities: Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets by developing and executing effective sales strategies. This includes identifying new business opportunities, nurturing leads, managing the sales pipeline, and closing deals across various industry sectors. Proactively engage in both inbound and outbound lead generation activities. Use creative outreach strategies, networking, and follow-ups to build and maintain a robust sales funnel. Engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their training and compliance challenges. Leverage deep industry knowledge to recommend tailored learning solutions that align with client objectives. Present training solutions in a compelling and value-driven manner to senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers. Clearly communicate the benefits and ROI of proposed offerings to secure buy-in. Partner with internal marketing and training delivery teams to ensure alignment between client needs, outreach strategies, and available services. Share feedback to continuously improve offerings and messaging. Utilize CRM systems and sales tracking tools to document outreach activities, monitor progress toward sales goals, and generate data-driven insights to refine strategies. Keep up to date with regulatory and training requirements in key Canadian sectors. Apply this knowledge to position the organization as a trusted, compliant partner in workforce development. Your qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of CRM systems and MS Office Suite; able to use tools to track progress, analyze data, and manage outreach. Demonstrated confidence in cold calling and handling objections with professionalism. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and highly organized with strong time management skills. Collaborative team player who works well across marketing and delivery teams to align outreach with training offerings. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a strong asset. Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, education, or a related field is a plus. Over 5 years of proven experience in inside sales, business development, and SDR role. Demonstrated experience selling technical trainings solutions in Canada. Familiarity with Canadian business practices, training regulations, and standards Proven ability to build and manage a full sales cycle-from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, closing, and post-sale follow-up. Experienced in using CRM systems to manage sales pipelines, track KPIs, and generate accurate sales forecasts. Additional Information
