Job Title: Warehouse & Logistics Lead - Telecom/OSP Location: Phoenix, AZ (On-Site) Employment Type: Full-Time (Ongoing Contract with Potential for Extension or Full-Time Conversion) Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Warehouse & Logistics Lead to manage daily warehouse and logistics operations at our Phoenix facility. This is an ongoing contract role with the potential for extension or conversion to full-time employment. Candidates must have prior logistics experience within a telecommunications or Outside Plant (OSP) company. This industry-specific background is essential for understanding the materials, workflows, and operational demands of our field teams. Key Responsibilities * Supervise daily logistics operations including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping. * Lead and mentor a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback. * Ensure accurate documentation of all inventory transactions using warehouse systems. * Oversee material staging, cleaning, and screening for telecom equipment (e.g., converters, network hardware). * Monitor inventory levels and support forecasting and procurement planning. * Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards. * Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed; enforce safety protocols. * Support local deliveries and material transport using company vehicles. * Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts; resolve discrepancies. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely material availability for field crews. Required Qualifications * Direct logistics experience in a telecommunications or OSP (Outside Plant) company is required. * Previous experience in a logistics or warehouse supervisory role. * High school diploma or equivalent. * Proficiency with inventory tracking systems and basic computer applications. * Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate forklifts and company vehicles. * Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills. * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Preferred Qualifications * Forklift certification or willingness to obtain. * Experience supporting field service or utility operations.
