EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required
- Experience
- 2 years of experience in a hospital or multi-hospital system supply chain management, with a strong background in a clinical setting
- Licenses and Certifications
- DRIVERS LICENSE Requires valid Texas driver's license, possession/maintenance of acceptable UT System driver rating. Upon Hire
JOB DUTIES
- Utilizes internal asset management systems effectively to facilitate achievement of performance objectives, as well as reporting lost and missing assets. Coordinating reporting with Accounting when necessary.
- Assists in the daily coordination of workflow between nursing, therapy, administration, and support services.
- Assists in maintaining asset database, including acquisitions, maintenance management, service calls, and transfers of all equipment.
- Evaluates assets and equipment to assist in developing, monitoring, and maintaining PAR level standards for items needed.
- Assists clinical and support staff with locations of current items and location of missing items.
- Works with biomed routine maintenance, repair, and installation of new and existing equipment.
- Assists with data collection and analysis, facilitating resolution of issues between all systems and parties - Asset Management, Accounting and Decision Support.
- Coordinates the distribution of new and existing equipment.
- Assists with reduction of rental rates with assistance to department for location of current unused assets/equipment.
- Assists program manager with data for tracking, replacement business plan, and service for immovable assets and update the department asset database.
- Manages installation, repairs, and maintenance of department facilities, including submission of service requests, contacting vendors, scheduling & coordinating times.
- Primary department contact for support services, such as cafeteria, vending machines, valet, facilities, telecom, clinic support services, and housekeeping.
- Ensures facilities meet standards and codes. Manages service requests necessary to address any issues. Assists during monthly QA activities, such as crash cart reviews, biomed compliance, pacemaker documentation and badge distribution.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
