EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION Required Education Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Experience 5 years of responsible management experience in medical environment. Licenses and Certifications (RN) REGISTERED NURSE Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas. Upon Hire Preferred Education Master's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related field Experience Ambulatory and/or outpatient experience preferred. JOB DUTIES In collaboration with the CNE and/or CNO, supports the vision and strategic direction for nursing. Leads implementation and monitoring of the patient care delivery model(s) utilizing the clinical and staffing standards. Makes recommendations and supports strategies for improving clinical processes and patient outcomes, under the direction of the CNO. Makes formal presentations to various senior level audiences. Serves on committees as representative of assigned programs as appropriate. Seeks opportunity to adopt best practice, eliminate duplication and maximize efficiency. Continuously reviews nursing needs and effectiveness, safety initiative support, patient satisfaction strategies and other projects that require system oversight. Ensures efficient and effective nursing operations including global projects, recruitment and retention activities, leadership development strategies Performs other duties assigned.
