1st shift: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm or 7am-4pm
Pay: $20-$24/hour
Job Information
The primary objective of the Training Coordinator position is to facilitate the fulfillment of all regulatory requirements pertaining to employee training including record keeping so that the employees are fully trained in all aspects of their position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Duties may include but are not limited to:
  1. Training Coordinator:
    1. Design, organize, and coordinate companywide training activities.
    2. Monitor, evaluate, and record training activities in QCBD.
    3. Verify training effectiveness as necessary by creating quizzes.
    4. Maintain and update QCBD Training Management module.
    5. Plan and organize onboard training for new employees.
    6. Schedule trainings based on availability of space, equipment, or instructors.
    7. Present information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as, group discussions, videos, or lectures.
    8. Evaluate information to determine compliance with standards.
    9. Guiding, directing, and motivating subordinates.
    10. Work with the supervisors/leads to ensure each position has a training matrix that is being utilized.
    11. Coordinate training sessions; work with subject matter experts and external trainers to deliver effective training.
    12. Identify training needs; work with department heads and HR to determine what training is needed when a position change occurs.
    13. Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests.
    14. Create/ensure each employee has an accurate job description and R&A statement on file.
    15. Ensure employee training records are filed in a secure location.
    16. Coordinate Safety Committee program.
    17. Perform other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
  2. Act as a back-up for International Shipping Clerk:
    1. Prepare any necessary international documents for shipping; Reports/Certificates, ACE/AES filing, Customs invoicing, and/or coordinate package pick-up.
    2. Communicate with customers and couriers about shipping information and/or request information to/from customers via email and/or phone.
    3. Perform other related duties and responsibilities, on occasion, as assigned.
  3. Internal Auditor:
    1. Member of audit team.
    2. Participate in company internal audits.
    3. Complete reports/documentation of internal audits outcome.
