Technical Advisor *Shift: 1st, (Hours may Vary)* *Pay: $65-$72k/yr (Based on experience)* Job Description: Provide technical assistance via phone and email for field service technicians, dealers, customers, and installers Assist the Parts Department with technical part identification, orders, and missing/backordered items Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, VFD, and PLC-related issues Research and resolve technical parts inquiries using bills of material and engineering documentation Process, track, and resolve warranty claims within ERP system (Epicor M2K) Document technical support issues, identify trends, and escalate as needed to Product Support Manager Support internal teams (sales, engineering, manufacturing, purchasing) on process improvement projects Train and mentor Product Support and Parts staff on products and technical procedures Participate in team meetings, continuous improvement efforts, and other company initiatives Maintain thorough knowledge of company products, parts, and service policies Occasionally travel for training or field assistance (domestic/international) Required Qualifications: Strong technical background in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Working knowledge of VFDs and PLCs Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals High-level customer service and communication skills Experience with ERP systems (Epicor M2K prefer)
