Under general supervision, supports the project lead with the organization's strategic plan(s).

Essential Functions

About the Role - This role will support the workforce transformation project by leading people analytics, data modeling, and predictive insights to help leadership make informed talent decisions. Apply strong people-analytics, strategic workforce planning, project and process-management skills to drive cross-functional initiatives and deliver high-impact insights that shape our talent strategy. This role also requires familiarity with job architecture, career development, titling, and location strategy, along with strong expertise in organizational design and market research.

Successful candidates will excel at navigating ambiguity and driving concepts through execution, leveraging diverse data sources to develop strategic recommendations, and managing large-scale initiatives. They must communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with senior leaders and collaborate across functions within and beyond the D&T organization, including Finance, Human Resources, Communications, Legal, and other FedEx enterprise teams. Strategic Workforce Planning & People Analytics

Partner with business leaders to define workforce needs, conduct gap analyses, and develop data-driven talent strategies (upskilling, redeployment, external hiring).

Design and maintain forecasting models and dashboards (headcount, turnover, skill gaps) to inform decision-making and monitor progress.

Leverage statistical and predictive-analytics techniques to anticipate future workforce requirements and assess scenario impacts.

Strategic & Environmental Analysis

  • Conduct environmental scans, organizational-positioning analyses, and scenario-planning studies.
  • Synthesize findings into strategic recommendations that support long-term growth objectives.

Project & Process Management

  • Lead project planning - define scope, develop timelines, allocate resources, and track milestones.
  • Simplify and streamline processes to improve efficiency and eliminate redundant steps.
  • Guide stakeholders and "clients" through each phase of the process and provide hands-on support when they encounter roadblocks.
  • Maintain comprehensive project and process documentation, ensuring all deliverables are met on time.

Critical & Strategic Thinking

  • Challenge underlying assumptions, explore alternative hypotheses, and map potential downstream impacts.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that guide executive decision-making.

Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration

  • Coordinate communications with alliance partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.
  • Facilitate workshops and presentations to senior leaders, using strong storytelling and visualization skills.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify process gaps and implement enhancements to further streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, adapting quickly to evolving business needs.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or business administration or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years work experience in information technology or business environment including project management, quantitative analysis, forecasting, process improvement, or market/competitive analysis.

Domicile Information

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $6,168.90/month - $10,898.39/month
