JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Summary:
This position will be part of Client's Advanced Materials Technology (AMT) Development Team located at Client's US Technical Center in Mossville, IL. The role is primarily focused on ferrous metallurgy and will provide testing/analysis support in development of new heat treatments, alloys, and manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibilities:
* Technical support on casting, heat treatment, steel development projects
* At Client engineer"s direction, coordinate trials with internal heat treat development lab
* Coordinate submission of test samples and components to on site Metallurgical Lab; track progress and completion of testing
* Analyze and summarize metallurgical test results and processing information for Client engineers
*Conduct wear testing in on-site lab; maintain lab equipment, procedures, consumable inventory

Skills:
* Familiarity with heat treatment or foundry manufacturing processes
* Understanding of standard and advanced Metallurgical Lab testing techniques
* Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability
* Team player and detail oriented
* Proficient with standard Office 365 software applications; experience with analytical software (ex: ImageJ) and simulation software (ex: JMatPro) is a plus

Education/Experience:
* B.S. degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Materials Science and Engineering
