The Advanced Equipment Systems Division (AES) is a focused group within the larger Air Liquide Electronics (ALE) organization that specializes in providing chemical and specialty gas management equipment solutions. Team members are chemical and mechanical engineers, electrical and controls engineers, programmers, manufacturing technicians and field service engineers. The core expertise of this team includes everything related to the delivery of process molecules: equipment design, material compatibility, safety requirements, component selection, controls design and integration, flow and pressure optimization, installation and start-up, and turnkey project management.

Performs electronic or electro-mechanical assembly or wiring operations. Responsibilities
Performs electronic or electro-mechanical assembly or wiring operations. Uses work instructions, wire run lists, electrical and/or mechanical diagrams, and/or verbal instructions to complete work. Disassembles, reworks, or reassembles units as necessary to meet production schedules. Works within appropriate cleanliness, quality, material handling and safety procedures. Through observation of work area(s), is alert to and avoids unsafe behaviors and conditions or other hazards. Reports any observed hazards to the supervisor. Participates in corrective measures when appropriate or authorized. Maintains personal area in an orderly fashion, free of hazards. Packages & prepares equipment for shipment as needed. Reports all injuries and/or near misses to the supervisor immediately. Participates in and cooperates with accident investigations. Fully participates in assigned training programs. Attempts to perform only those tasks for which proper training has been received. Notifies supervisor if faced with a task which is potentially hazardous to self or co-workers due to inadequate training or lack of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Becomes familiar with and practices all safety procedures. Seeks clarification or additional information when required. Strictly adheres to requirements for personal protective equipment (PPE) and all safety rules. Serves as an information resource to peers, as necessary. Operates basic computer programs as necessary to perform work, or test equipment. Completes required documentation as assigned, including, but not limited to: time sheets, vacation requests, supply issues, etc... Understands and follows all applicable ISO procedures. Provides training to others on specific techniques, as needed. Observes and provides feedback to improve and streamline production and other processes. Coordinates with co-workers and other departments as necessary to maintain schedules and product quality. Packages & prepares equipment for shipment as needed. Works with manufacturing engineering and document control to maintain work instructions and other manufacturing documentation such as as-build documents, marking up and redlining drawings, etc. Identifies issues with manufacturing and business processes and makes recommendations to improve. Ability to test equipment and support Q/A Check out documents. Performs other duties as assigned and/or as necessary to meet the needs of internal and external customers.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience 1+ year minimum relevant manufacturing experience. Knowledge & experience in various electrical and mechanical assembly techniques. Knowledge & experience in various electrical and mechanical assembly techniques required. Proven knowledge of specific mechanical assembly techniques including mounting/installing hardware, plumbing/piping systems and various pneumatic and electro-mechanical components. Familiarity with wiring and soldering techniques required. Communicates and coordinates with co-workers at a level necessary to maintain a safe and productive work environment. The ability to use small hand and power tools as well as measuring devices Ability to use advanced work instructions, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, wire run lists and/or other written or verbal instructions. Possesses a specialized skill (i.e purebond welding, orbital welding, etc.) Advanced ability to create complex jigs and fixtures to ensure proper welds are achieved Advanced math skills to achieve required tolerances as indicated on Engineering documents Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
