Astrion is seeking an expert in developing innovative solutions to complex Department of Defense (DoD) challenges. Must have demonstrated success leading the planning and execution of advanced mission and systems analysis efforts.

Must have demonstrated success leading the planning and execution of advanced mission and systems analysis efforts.

This role is based at the Pentagon and serves as the primary liaison between the government and Astrion for all matters related to a future Task Order.

Key Qualifications:

• 20 years of engineering experience
• Masters degree, PhD desired

• Proven leadership in Systems Engineering (SE) disciplines, including:

  • Technology analysis and assessment

  • System definition and analysis

  • Architecture development for Systems of Systems (SoS)

  • Kill chain and tradespace analysis

  • Modeling and simulation for mission enhancement

  • Logistics support for DoD systems

• Recognized expertise in technical, managerial, or operational domains, with the judgment to advise senior government stakeholders.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

• Desired experience includes:

  • Interfacing with Joint Staff, Services, and warfighters to align analytic outcomes with operational needs

  • Serving as a chief engineer or lead systems engineer for a major defense acquisition or R&D program
