Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to the Colorado Springs area and relocation support will be provided.

About the Job:

You will be part of an R&D team utilizing Agile software development to deliver software features for Infiniium Real-time Oscilloscopes. You will develop oscilloscope software using C++, enabling customers to detect system issues and validate their products.

Work alongside the skilled engineers at Keysight to innovate and drive forward advanced technologies in the field of oscilloscopes. Your role will involve not just coding, but engaging in the full software development life cycle, from concept through execution.

Key Responsibilities includes but not limited to:

  • Develop and maintain software features for Infiniium Real-time Oscilloscopes utilizing Agile software development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, implement, and test new features.
  • Participate in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Provide support for Customer and Internal Queries (Tier 3)
  • Train on next generation SW baseline for Real Time scopes
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to new engineers.

Qualifications

Musts

  • A Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical/ Electronics Engineering.
  • 8-10 years of experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware interfaces
  • Must have Strong Modern C++ programming skills
  • Experience with Windows Or Linux Development Environments
  • Working knowledge in building, testing, and debugging software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with source code control (like Git)

Wants

  • Good foundation in measurement science with particular emphasis on Real Time Oscilloscopes
  • Experience in using electronic test and measure equipment (e.g. function generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, voltmeters, etc.)
  • Experience with Digital Signal Processing.
  • Experience with commercial software to control measurement instruments and other hardware systems. Examples of software packages include C, MATLAB, LabVIEW will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of analog circuit design and mixed-signal systems
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools - Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket

Pay Range:

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

USD $115,200.00 - USD $192,000.00 Year
