JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a wide variety of Human Resources functions including compliance, employment recruiting, employee relations, disability/FMLA leaves, on boarding, workers compensation management. Primary Responsibilities:
- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions;
collaborates with departmental managers, to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Conduct and coordinates on boarding and new employee orientation programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including
but not limited to recruitment, benefits, and leaves.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring
complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Serving as primary contact for work related injuries, includes; good communication with injured
employees, filing claims timely, maintaining OSHA Log, working with adjusters and guiding employees by facilitating access to medical care. Active participant in Safety Meetings.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and
recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- 3-5 Years HR Generalist experience, preferably w/in a manufacturing environment
- Labor Relations, and PHR or SPHR certification a plus.
- Minimum Associate's Degree in related field preferred, Bachelor's preferred.
