Radyne Corporation seeks Regional Sales Engineer in Milwaukee, WI.
This position is eligible for the employee referral program. Duties: * Meet a quota assigned by the Sales and Marketing Manager. * Manage all sales responsibilities within your region. * Work with marketing to develop promotional material designed to enhance the Radyne brand, products, and services in the appropriate market segments in the assigned geography. * Meet and work directly with customers to understand customer goals, objectives, problems, and justification for purchases. * Work with the Radyne Sales and Marketing Manager, Management, Applications Engineering, and IPEC to quote standard and engineered solutions to meet unique customer induction heating production requirements. * Develop and create material for business presentations to stakeholders and customers. * Develop long-term relationships with the customer base and regional industry influencers. * Independently Develop specific sales strategies and plans to ensure revenue growth in the assigned territory. * Report on Sales Activities, Forecast future sales prospects and accounting opportunities in the Radyne CRM in a timely manner. * Work (coordinate) with Sales Associate, other Radyne Regional Sales Managers, Aftermarket Sales, and other Inductotherm company sales representatives as required. * Participate in scheduled Radyne sales meetings. * Represent Radyne Corporation in industry-related trade shows and professional organizations. * Effectively manage regional sales operational expenses. * Determine pricing and solution strategies and respond to competitive pricing pressures on a daily basis. * Utilize Induction Heating Principles and Leverage knowledge of electromagnetism/material science to optimize heating efficiency and uniformity, integrating mechanical engineering concepts like heat transfer and fluid dynamics. * Understanding the design and operational principles of various induction heating systems, aligning with mechanical engineering's focus on system analysis and optimization for diverse applications. * Translating complex technical specifications into customer-centric language, bridging the gap between engineering intricacies and practical application, drawing upon mechanical engineering's emphasis on clear communication and problem-solving. * Demonstrate equipment functionality and technical features with clarity and precision, utilizing mechanical engineering's foundation in visualization and hands-on experimentation. * Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations in equipment design and implementation, integrating mechanical engineering's emphasis on quality assurance and compliance with safety standards. * Conduct site assessments to understand customer requirements and propose tailored technical solutions, applying mechanical engineering's analytical skills to assess system needs and propose efficient solutions. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to customize solutions for clients, leveraging mechanical engineering's multidisciplinary problem-solving and system optimization approach. * Rapidly diagnosing and resolving technical issues, drawing upon mechanical engineering's aptitude for systematic problem-solving and root cause analysis. * Utilize Solidworks expertise to create detailed technical layouts for customers, incorporating mechanical engineering principles such as CAD modeling, 3D visualization, and geometric analysis to optimize equipment placement and integration within existing systems. Regular Travel (Domestic and International) to meet with customers and attend trade shows as required. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering plus any amount of experience gained through any prior employment or college-level coursework in the following: * Utilizing Solidworks expertise to create detailed technical layouts for customers. * Familiarity with the properties of various metals and materials commonly used in induction heating applications. * Ability to create technical proposals. * Understanding the design and operational principles of various induction heating systems. * Independently Develop sales strategies. * Knowledge of electrical circuits, power electronics, and control systems relevant to induction heating technology. 40 hours/week, $83,218.00 per year.
