Business Intelligence Developer - Blue Bell, PA

PMA is searching for a developer to join its Business Intelligence Team. As a member of the team you will develop and support applications, and support packages, designed to distribute content to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Work with our internal customers to gather business requirements for applications and develop technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain applications to support internal and external visualization and reporting requirements.
• Responsibilities include coding, testing, debugging, documenting and implementation of applications of average to difficult complexity.
• Participate in an on call support rotation.
• Install and maintain Qlik and Power BI Data Analytics packages.
• Demonstrate commitment to Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and apply knowledge of compliance policies and procedures, standards and laws applicable to job responsibilities in the performance of work.

• BS in Information Systems preferred but appropriate business/technical experience acceptable.
• Experience in data visualization application development using Qlik, Power BI and Database query writing skills.
• Experience with requirements gathering and understanding the needs of the end user.
• Create the next generation of BI dashboards using Qlik and Power BI, delivering data insights through visualizations.
• Experience in the research, development and support of data visualization technics.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required, team work, as well as the ability to work independently.
• Background in data modeling and data mining.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and prioritize time with minimal supervision.
• Practical experience with Software Configuration Management (SCM) tools such as Subversion.
