Directly responsible for promotion and positioning of Loveland Products' nutritional technologies with all stakeholders including division management, retail sales consultants, and grower customers in West.

What you will do:




  • Achieve annual sales goals through various sales tactics.
  • Routinely educate growers, crop consultants, and other key territory stake holders.
  • Prepare an annual strategic plan outlining strategies and tactics to help increase sales growth opportunities.
  • Help with forecasting annual sales targets with plant nutrition shelve per product for the West.
  • Work closely with the sales teams to support, influence, monitor, and drive sales.
  • Provide marketing and agronomic information to support the proper positioning of Loveland Products' plant nutrition portfolio.
  • Serve as a technical resource on all Loveland Products' plant nutrition and cropping systems within the West.
  • Sell Loveland Products' nutritional portfolio and technology benefits to sales teams and grower customers.
  • Help the sales teams by solving problems and creating solutions when needed.
  • Advise growers and crop advisors on using Loveland nutritional products to improve plant health, crop yield, and profitability.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with technical resources and key sales stakeholders to build product confidence by leveraging Loveland nutritional product trials, field days and field demonstrations
  • Help develop marketing support strategies, product positioning, presentations, and technical support as needed.
  • Help educate stakeholders how to interpret analytical data, like soil tests, to support and drive Loveland nutritional technology sales and adoption.



What you will bring:




  • Prefer a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Agronomy, Chemistry, Plant Science, Agriculture or other related field or experience equivalent from an accredited institution. Other degree holders may also be considered.
  • Prefer a minimum of 10 years of experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining sales activities, marketing strategies and customer services in the crop input industry.
  • Requires a strong industry network in the agriculture space.


Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range $105,300 - $195,600/annually. This range is estimated forPlant and Soil Health Field Managerin the State of California. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

In addition to base pay, this role is also eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan, consistent with the terms of our program where discretionary pay out of awards is reflecting components such as performance of the company and the employee. Details will be discussed through the application process.
