The Facilities Maintenance II performs general maintenance duties to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Position Responsibilities:

* Perform duties in a safe, productive, and cost-effective manner that complies with all company quality, safety and regulatory policies to include proper use of PPE.

* Perform facility repairs, preventative maintenance, and janitorial services as assigned.

* Fabricates new equipment or supplemental pieces when needed.

* Repairs, replaces and maintains building systems and equipment to support production.

* Manages vendors during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers, etc.) and ensures vendors are in compliance with Sechan's security and safety protocols.

* Inspects and maintains building utility systems (HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing).

* Assists facilities manager in gathering information and makes recommendations for facility repairs and projects.

* Maintains documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external regulatory requirements.

* Assist the facilities manager in developing goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures as needed.

* Monitor inventory of required materials for the position. Report needs and adjustments to facilities manager.

* Respond to maintenance request as assigned through the CMMS (computer maintenance management system). Thoroughly document completed work in the CMMS.

* Assist in office relocations, moving furniture, dismantling/reassembling cubicles.

* Perform other duties as assigned to drive the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the value of this organization.

Skills & Abilities:

* Basic computer skills.

* Ability to use common hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, screwdrivers, paintbrushes and wrenches.

* Strong organizational and planning abilities.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Experience using Microsoft office(Outlook, Excel and Word)

* Extremely organized individual

* Can-do attitude, drive to take leadership

* Ability to stay focused when working individually.

* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Vocational or Technical certification preferred.

* 3 years previous experience in HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.

* Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (Electrical, HVAC, etc)

* Drivers License with reliable transportation to commute between facilities.

Work Environment:

* Office, Warehouse, and Manufacturing floor; Requires physical capability to work up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

* 9/80 work schedule.

* Office located in Lititz, PA, with occasional visits to Lancaster facility.
