Pharmacy Supervisor, Clinical Oncology/Infusion

Reporting
to the Director of Pharmacy, Infusion Operations and with a dotted line to the
A-CPO Ambulatory Treatments, you will lead clinical oncology pharmacy services
across multiple infusion practice areas, ensuring the safe and effective
preparation and delivery of medications. You will directly supervise
pharmacists, and performance development, and uphold compliance with all
applicable regulatory, accreditation, and institutional standards. You will
provide clinical guidance, resolving complex clinical issues, and contributing
the standardization of treatment protocols. You will participate in
the design and implementation of new workflows, processes, and programs within
oncology infusion departments. Serving as a key liaison between pharmacy,
nursing, and medical teams, you will ensure seamless coordination of care and
the highest standards of pharmaceutical service delivery.

Activities
will include:



  • Supervising and mentoring
    pharmacists, including hiring, onboarding, training, and performance
    evaluation
  • Managing day-to-day clinical
    infusion pharmacy operations across multiple sites and shifts
  • Ensuring regulatory and
    policy compliance related to sterile compounding (USP
    <797>/<800>), hazardous drugs, investigational drug services,
    and medication safety
  • Collaborating with clinical
    leaders to align medication-use strategies, resolve medication-related
    issues, and optimize patient outcomes
  • Leading interdisciplinary
    quality initiatives and participating in hospital or departmental
    committees
  • Supporting educational
    programs including pharmacy residencies, student rotations, and staff
    development
  • Monitoring safety trends and
    leading risk-reduction and process improvement efforts
  • Providing clinical
    pharmacyleadership

Monday - Friday

Salary
Range: $140,200.00 - $331,800.00

Qualifications

We're
seeking an experienced and compassionate clinical leader with current
California pharmacist licensure and:


  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
    from an accredited institution
  • Clinical
    pharmacy experience in a
    infusion setting
    (PGY1/PGY2 Administrative Residency completion counts toward this
    requirement)
  • Completion of a PGY1
    residency (PGY2 in Oncology or equivalent experience preferred)
  • BCOP preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in
    formulary management and medication safety initiatives
  • Effective communication,
    problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to mentor
    staff, support clinical education, and lead interdisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to safe,
    cost-effective, and high-quality pharmaceutical care
