This role is part of Alcon's Legal & Compliance function, a team that safeguards our company and our innovations to ensure our business is protected and our customers can access our eyecare innovations to see brilliantly. As a Sr. Associate, Integrity & Compliance (Professional Path), you will be trusted to play a pivotal role in strengthening Alcon's position as a leader in business conduct, ethics, and integrity by monitoring high-risk business activities for compliance with company policies and procedures. This role is key in identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing effective controls to ensure ongoing compliance. Additionally, you will support the development and execution of a risk-based monitoring strategy and plan, leveraging various data sources to select samples, reviewing documentation, assessing non-compliance, and supporting remediation efforts. You will also prepare and present compliance monitoring summaries to key stakeholders and Senior Leadership, clearly communicating key findings and risk indicators.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Compliance Framework Design & Execution: support the design and implementation of a data-driven, risk-based compliance monitoring program. Build and maintain dashboards, data models, and reports to track policy adherence.
  • Risk Assessment & Monitoring: identify and assess compliance risks, automate monitoring processes, and conduct risk-based monitoring to evaluate control effectiveness and policy adherence. Analyze large datasets to detect trends, anomalies, and compliance breaches; support remediation and improvements.
  • Collaboration: partner with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to embed compliance into business operations and approve international sponsorships.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: track and report compliance metrics to senior leadership, providing actionable insights to enhance risk mitigation.
  • Training & Education: develop and deliver compliance trainings to promote awareness and adherence.
  • Regulatory Awareness: monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies and practices accordingly.
  • Investigations: assist ethics investigations with data analysis and interview support.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 2 Years of Relevant Experience
  • Experience working in legal, compliance, finance or related role with a pharmaceutical or medical device organization
  • Skilled in preparing and analyzing large-scale datasets, with strong analytical abilities to translate data into actionable insights; experience with AI-driven analysis preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint), with experience in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau; familiarity with financial and CRM systems such as SAP, Concur, Salesforce, and Cybergrants preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment.
  • Previous audit experience
