Legal Intern

JOB SUMMARY

The Remote Legal Intern will assist the Legal Department with documenting and implementing intake and review processes, and conducting legal research, under the direction of the supervising attorney.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITTIES

• Assist with management of the administration and tracking of contract review requests and follow-up with Legal Department members for status. Document, track and report on same
• Support Legal Department in managing and updating standard templates and other forms
• Maintain and improve electronic storage of corporate records and contracts
• Perform legal research
• Performs other tasks and projects as requested by members of Legal Department
• Adheres to Company Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures and Corporate policies
• Adheres to strict code of confidentiality as it relates to clients and policies and procedures of Company
• Provides excellent Customer service to all internal and external clients

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be self-motivated and highly-collaborative.
• Candidate must have highly effective oral and written communication skills.
• Must have working knowledge of MS office.
