Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Coordinator - Brooklyn.
In this role, the successful candidate The Project Coordinator will manage an assigned portfolio of projects in the ED under the general supervision of the administrative director. In addition, the coordinator will work with the clinical leadership on projects, events, and all duties pertaining to NYU Langone Health Emergency Department under the general supervision of the Administrative Director.
Job Responsibilities:
- Under general supervision, manage interdepartmental projects assigned by leadership, including scoping out the project, identifying goals and objectives and creating project plans that support the initiative.
- Responsible for managing project progress to ensure critical milestones are met, with authority to hold project participants accountable for their deliverables. Analyzes risk and its impact using project management tools and identifies alternatives to eliminate or minimize risk.
- Responsible for various patient experience improvement initiatives in the ED. Assesses issues and identifies the appropriate resolution based on various research, including but not limited to analyzing data and conducting stakeholder interviews.
- Monitor facilities and interface with various departments to ensure patient-and-family-centric care space.
- The project coordinator manages various facilities, moves and upgrades, ensures new spaces are set up, in addition to, monitor facilities and interface with various departments to ensure patient-and-family-centric care space.
- Efficiently and anticipates temporary location assignment needs. Makes regular rounds and provides recommendations as needed for continuous improvement.
- Works with various stakeholders on troubleshooting and implementing project plans for short-term and long-term departmental needs and objectives. Provides recommendations on approach and foresee issues before they arise.
- Manages event budgets independently makes spending decisions and works with vendors to obtain and negotiate quotes as needed.
- Assist in ensuring departmental readiness for accrediting agency certification
- Independently manages the department's quality improvement initiatives.
- Collaborates with various stakeholders within and outside of the department, building and promoting positive working relationships.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree. At least two years managing projects, logistics, or workflows.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $58,500.00 - $96,254.40 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
