Lead Electrician - Nights

Pay Rate: $42.50 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Follow safety lock out tag out procedures.
2. Provide training and guidance to lower level Electrician and work unsupervised.
3. Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment throughout the chicken plant as described in the electrician training book.
4. Work from blueprints or schematics to perform maintenance, repair or install equipment.
5. Must have knowledge and be able to trouble shoot and repair electronics.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must have a minimum of five years of experience as a plant electrician, production environment preferred. Must be Master Level Electrician for a minimum of six months.
2. Must have knowledge of A/C variable frequency drives and programmable logic controllers and electronic equipment.
3. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
4. Must have good written and oral English communication skills.
5. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
6. Must be able to work from a ladder.
7. Must be able to work rotating shifts.
8. Must be able to pass written tests.
9. Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time on a concrete/metal grate floor.
10. Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
